With over ten years of experience across various facets of the music industry, Kayla thrives in discovering and promoting eclectic and emerging artists. Kayla is currently based in LA (but likes to think that she is bi-coastal since she has attachment issues).

Kayla’s career began in New York, where she got her start at VICE's Noisey managing marketing for the music channel and writing about indie bands. Her subsequent roles at Downtown Records and Cult Records further honed her expertise before she made the move to LA. In Los Angeles, she took on A&R and creative licensing roles at Third Side Publishing and The Greater Goods Co., before focusing exclusively on music supervision.
Kayla has successfully placed music in high-profile advertising campaigns for brands including Google, Haagen Dazs, Urban Outfitters, Spectrum, and Everlane, to name a few. She is currently the Music Supervisor for the third season of Ginny & Georgia on Netflix, NBC’s new series Grosse Pointe Garden Society, and several other exciting film and television projects. A devoted college radio aficionado, Kayla has also hosted and guest DJed on prominent stations such as LA’s East Side Radio, KCRW, KChung, and Resonance Extra, while frequently DJing across Los Angeles and New York.
